Still there are some very excellent movies. One essential aspect of the movies in Native indian is that they do present the visitors also with awesome songs. Many well-known Punjabi songs come from the movies as well.
Some of the ever best Punjabi movies are Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai, Chan Pardesi, Hashar... A really like tale, Mannat and Des Hoyaa Pardes. Of course there are some more, but I would like to emphasize a few of them here. Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai is from the end of Sixties - it is a spiritual movie that is introducing an essential Sikh lifestyle celebration. Punjabi songs from that movie are devotional and still beloved by so many in Punjab these days. A tune Simple Sahib Simple Sahib is wonderful really.
Hashar... A really like tale is one of the new Punjabi movies. It was launched in 2008. Again one of the factors why this movie is so beloved, is thanks to the excellent Punjabi songs.
